RELIGIONS AND MOTHERHOOD

Giulia Pedrucci (Università di Verona), Florence Pasche Guignard (University of Laval, Canada), Joanna Krotofil (Jagiellonian University, Poland) announce a dual call for papers and chapters focusing on “RELIGIONS AND MOTHERHOOD“.
The call for papers is for our approved Open Panel at the XXIII Quinquennial World Congress of the International Association for the History of Religions (IAHR), taking place from August 24–30, 2025, in Krakow, Poland. Additionally, the call for chapters is for a forthcoming Handbook that we intend to publish.
Please review the call carefully, as the submission and peer-review processes are separate for each.

Here are the link to the double call (as a downloadable PDF) and the list of Open Panels at the IAHR2025. Ours is number 3, titled Studying Religion(s), Motherhood and Mothering in Interconnected Worlds.
